It's FALL Y'ALL!! Come experience the fullness of the colors on Saturday, October 25th at Weston Bend State Park in Weston, MO! Be sure to wear good shoes for some off-pavement adventure, and plenty of water!

Carpooling/Pre-Travel Rendezvous Information: We'll gather at 8:00 AM in the parking lot of the Super Target of Blue Valley Parkway (12200 Blue Valley Pkwy, Overland Park, KS 66213). Carpools and any other vehicles will depart at 8:30 AM. We will drive to the Trailhead for the West Ridge Trail (Weston Bluffs Trail, Weston, MO 64098). See the map below for what that point looks like on Google maps. It is about a 50 min drive to the trailhead, so we will re-gather and depart on our hike from there around 9:30 AM. 

**You are welcome to join us at the trailhead. Just reach out to Becca in the GroupMe**

We are aiming to be back to Blue Valley Parkway Super Target by 2:00-2:30 pm (See the GroupMe for Post-Hike Adventure Details)

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Join us on Tuesday, October 8 from 5:30–8:00 PM at Catholic Charities’ Serve & Lift Center. We’ll lend a hand in their food pantry—helping sort, stock, and serve—and get a tour of their volunteer space.

It’s a great chance to learn more about one of Kansas City’s most impactful, Christ-centered organizations while connecting with others who want to serve the community.

Step into the beauty of creation with us—where trails turn into friendships and quiet moments lead to meaningful connection!

We'll gather at 9:00 AM at the Wudchuck Run Trailhead by the parking lot. We will head out on the trail at 9:30 AM! The trail is approximately 5 miles long and takes us past some beautiful rocky outcroppings and through the gorgeous woods of Swope Park. 🚨 Bug Alert! 🚨 There are tiny beasties in the woods who are out for blood. Proceed with caution and some bug spray! Hope to see you there! See the map below for directions of where to park and meet.

Please join us for Kansas City's annual Shakespeare Festival at Southmoreland Park! The play for this year is Love's Labour Lost, and admission is free! Bring a blanket to sit on, and cash for the food truck vendors. There is parking on the streets nearby the park. We will be meeting up with each other at the Nelson - Atkins museum entrance at 6:00 pm, and arriving at the park at 6:30 pm to get our spot. The show starts at 8:00 pm.
