Organizational Summary

City on a Hill serves the Kansas City area young adult community with the support of Bishop Johnston (Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph) and Archbishop McKnight (Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas).

“City on a Hill began in 2006 as a ministry of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph serving the 250,000 young adults (ages 21-35) who call the Kansas City area home. City on a Hill has grown from a ground-breaking ministry with a few dozen people to a community that annually reaches over 2,500 young adults, 600 of whom are well-engaged participants. City on a Hill is credited with more than 100 marriages, more than 200 adults who have entered into regular spiritual direction and at least a half dozen vocations to the seminary or religious life.”
